Pilot Season

So network pilot season is upon us, feeling very positive. I have a new agent and a new manager in place so really looking forward to it, been hitting the gym, new pics, new reel now feeling well prepared and ready to roll, bring it on.

Las Vegas

Had my mother in law Chris in town for a visit. Took her to Las Vegas which she loved. Always great seeing it through the eyes of someone else for the first time. We stayed at the Bellagio so that she could get a good view of the water show.  Steph loved having her mum in town and showing her the sights all over Vegas and LA.

Spanners

Congratulations to writer / director Jonathan Maas, I had the pleasure of working alongside Eric Roberts and Shawn Christian on his film Spanners. It’s an adaptation of his novel and he has already written a sequel that is available on Amazon see http://www.amazon.com/Spanners-Fountain-Youth-Jonathan-Maas/dp/1490350012/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1420425013&sr=8-1&keywords=spanners+the+fountain+of+youth The film is now out of post production with producers currently entering it into film festivals.

Terranea

Had a few days away at an excellent Hotel Terranea in Rancho Palos Verdes. Great to find a place really local to kick back in. Can’t say enough good things about the place, great food excellent service and a great area.

LA Car Show

Went to the opening night of the LA Car show, some crazy cars there from super fast  to super jacked. Impressed by Jaguar and Astin Martin but think the Porche stand was my favorite.

New Year 2015 "John Campbell-Mac"

Christmas and New Year

Had a very civilized Christmas, lot’s of industry parties and crazy nights out as is the norm in Hollywood this time of year. Normally with either family or friends on Christmas day but this year was really nice to stay at home. New Years was fun, celebrated UK / Irelands 4pm LA time at one party then US new year at a friends 70’s themed party, too much fun spent with good friends.

So 2015 is now upon us, I gotta say 2014 was a flyer and will be hard to top but have a very good feeling about this coming year. So this weeks quote is actually my Mantra for the year   may it bring to all of us, health, wealth, love and laughter.
